Reflexology for TMJ

The temporomandibular joint connects the jawbone to the skull and allows you to open and close your mouth. When arthritis causes the cartilage around the joint to wear away, an injury to the mouth or jaw area occurs, or the joint becomes misaligned or TMJ may occur. TMJ may cause jocking of the temporomandibular joint, pain in the jaw or around the ears, or difficulty and pain eating or chewing. Hence, the need to consult a dental professional or the application of reflexology for TMJ to remedy the problem. To know more about this alternative treatment, check out this link.
